Qualifications

• Previous call center or healthcare customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills for diverse patients.
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic health records (EHR).
• Typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls for information, appointments, or assistance with healthcare services in an efficient and professional manner.
• Provide accurate information regarding clinic services, appointments, billing inquiries, and general inquiries.
• Schedule appointments based on patients' needs, availability, and provider preferences.
• Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and eligibility for services during scheduling.
• Assist patients with navigating the clinic's online patient portal for scheduling, refills, and accessing medical records.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless communication.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR and ensure privacy and confidentiality.
