You will handle phones, schedule appointments, collect payments, and ensure accurate entry of patient information into the EMR, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience medical front office or behavioral health setting preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish or Creole a plus but not required.
• Confidentiality and professionalism essential.
• Experience with EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for patients, providing a warm and welcoming environment in person and over the phone and providing quality customer service.
• Perform daily clerical functions including answering multi-line phones, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries for WFHC’s Behavioral Health services.
• Assist in keeping the office running efficiently by performing clerical duties.
• Ensure patient information is captured in the EMR during check-in.
• Collect and process payment for visit and complete daily reconciliation.
