Job summary

Visiting Angels of Rapid City is seeking compassionate At Home Caregivers to serve clients throughout the Black Hills area. You will help with daily activities, meals, mobility and safety, and accompany clients on errands and appointments.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed).
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and supportive care.
• Respond quickly and responsibly to emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with mobility and accompany appointments/errands.
