Visiting Angels in Rapid City is seeking At Home Caregivers to support clients across the Northern Hills area, including Spearfish and nearby towns. You will follow personalized care plans, assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and help maintain safety during visits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response (provided if needed).
• Good time management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards.
• Compassion, understanding, and desire to brighten clients' days.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Report health changes or incidents.
• Provide companionship.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Assist with mobility at home and during appointments.
