Visiting Angels - Rapid City, SD is seeking compassionate In Home Patient Care Assistants to serve clients throughout the Black Hills. You will play a vital role in enriching clients' quality of life, following custom care plans, and providing companionship and support in their homes.

Responsibilities include light exercise, meal planning, light housekeeping, reporting health changes, and assisting with mobility and medications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid and emergency response training is provided if needed.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and support to clients.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.
