Visiting Angels of Rapid City seeks compassionate At Home Caregivers to support clients across the Northern Hills with personalized care plans, companionship, and daily tasks.

You’ll assist with mobility, meals, light housekeeping, errands, and medication reminders, while staying compliant with safety standards and training opportunities. We offer flexible schedules and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes and back.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking while respecting dietary needs.
• Willing to comply with state and office health and safety standards (background check).
• Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten each client’s day.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications as directed.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments/errands.
