Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral Health of Springfield is seeking an Admissions Call Specialist to be the first point of contact for patients and families seeking behavioral health support. You will conduct intake assessments, evaluate eligibility, and help connect callers with the right level of care.

You will coordinate with insurance providers, document interactions, and ensure clear communication among clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake interviews to determine appropriate levels of care.
• Respond to incoming inquiry calls with empathy and professionalism.

• Assess psychosocial and emotional status, especially for children and adolescents.
• Coordinate with insurance providers and internal teams to support verification.
• Facilitate communication among clinical staff, nursing, and business development.
