Job summary

Compass Intervention Center is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to act as the liaison between referral sources, patients and families, and to manage referrals, intake, and admission processes. The role focuses on coordinating assessments and ensuring appropriate levels of care for clients.

Ideal candidates will have a Master’s in Social Work or related field with crisis intervention experience in psychiatric settings, and strong documentation and communication skills to support the call center

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field is required.
• Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population is required.
• Knowledge of levels and focus of care for psychiatric, emotional, or behavioral problems is needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Compass Intervention Center, referral sources, patients and families.
• Coordinate referral, intake, and admission processes and determine appropriate level of care.
• Conduct telephonic and in-person assessments and maintain clear documentation of calls and admissions.
