Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of confidentiality laws related to mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
• Basic computer proficiency including Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to establish rapport and create a welcoming environment for clients and visitors.
• Knowledge of program policies, procedures and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate client screenings by phone or in person and guide individuals through the admissions process with professionalism and compassion.
• Create a welcoming experience for new clients while building positive relationships with referral sources, clients, and team members.
• Coordinate referrals, admissions, transfers, and discharges to support efficient client access to services.
• Maintain program census information and waiting lists in accordance with applicable standards and service models.
• Complete admission documentation, including demographic, financial, residency, and release-of-information forms within required timelines.
• Collaborate with care managers and the billing department to verify insurance information and ensure accurate payer billing processes.
• Enter, update, and maintain data within designated databases while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist clinical staff with administrative support, correspondence, forms, chart preparation, and documentation needs.
• Conduct chart reviews, organize records, and resolve technical documentation deficiencies within established timeframes.
• Support operational and reporting needs and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
