Compass by Margaritaville Key West is hiring a Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure top-quality dishes, and manage budgets and safety.

You’ll lead a hospitality-forward team, coordinate catering events, and keep menus fresh to deliver memorable dining.

Qualifications

• Associate or culinary degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years kitchen management in high-volume retail, bakery, hospitality, or restaurant setting.
• Experience with catering and event food preparation desirable.
• Current or ability to obtain ServSafe certification required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communication Skills: Keep the conversation flowing —share instructions, spark ideas, and make sure everyone’s in sync.
• Leadership and Training: Motivate your crew, recruit talent, and lead the kitchen team toward tasty success.
• Financial Acumen: Balance budgets, manage costs, and help the kitchen thrive.
