Job summary

Compass by Margaritaville Key West is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager OEM to lead our dining operations, from lounge to banquet, delivering memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

This full-time OEM role requires strong coaching, scheduling, and financial skills; you’ll drive compliance, safety, and engaging promotions while maintaining exceptional service standards for every shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in hospitality or related field.
• Proficient with Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing; strong financial and arithmetic skills.
• Supervisory experience preferred with strong communication and problem-solving.
• Ability to stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead guest hospitality from lounge to banquet; train team for smooth shifts.
• Uphold grooming, safety, and certifications such as Food Handlers and CPR.
• Manage payroll, scheduling, and reporting.
• Oversee inventory and beverage purchasing; create promotions.
• Address guest requests promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Analyze reports, participate in meetings, and support team versatility.

This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM), overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in hospitality, or a relevant college degree with related experience.

• Ability to stay composed and objective under pressure.

PROPERTY INFORMATION

This Key West Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott hotel offers a large outdoor pool with poolside cabanas, a daily hot breakfast, and free WiFi. Guests will be 5 minutes' drive from historic Old Town Key West and 2 mi from Duval Street. A flat-screen cable TV, microwave, and small refrigerator are featured in all rooms.
