Job summary

Inland Empire Health Plan seeks a Community Wellness Specialist to serve as the front-facing ambassador, delivering exceptional service, guiding visitors, handling intake, and coordinating with center staff to ensure seamless care and program delivery.

You will support mobile clinics and health events, present educational materials, and help drive quality goals through data collection and collaboration with partners, with flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of customer service experience in a managed care setting or related environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Medi-Cal/managed care environment; sensitivity to multicultural communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming front desk support, register participants, and route members to services using referrals.
• Develop and present programs, support intake and scheduling, and communicate needs to clinical staff.
• Coordinate training materials, gather feedback, and ensure contract compliance and program effectiveness.
