Job summary

Inland Empire Health Plans is seeking a Community Engagement Ambassador to lead partnerships and engagement across the Inland Empire. You will design localized plans, collaborate with city officials and providers, and drive member awareness and retention while adhering to IEHP policies.

This role requires outreach experience, a healthcare background, and strong communication skills across diverse communities. Travel and evenings/weekends may be required as events are held in the community.

Qualifications

• At least three years of outreach or managed care experience.
• Experience in health plan or market/sales services.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or four years of additional relevant work.
• Pass Medi-Cal Marketing test within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop and manage community partnerships across diverse communities.
• Design and execute innovative engagement strategies to support member retention and awareness.
• Collaborate with city officials, providers and IEHP teams to co-develop events and trainings.
• Ensure compliance with marketing, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
• Apply community data to inform strategy and improve member experience.
• Represent IEHP publicly at events and audits with professionalism.
