Job summary

Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas is seeking a CWC Aide to assist in recreational programs at the Community Wellness Center. The role supports afterschool programs during the school year and a summer program from May to August, helping to facilitate activities and ensure safety and participation.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED; prior related work is preferred. Native American preference is observed and will affect recruitment decisions.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and facilitating community events/activities.
• Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested.
• Implement a recreation program for the community.
• Keep daily attendance and document participation in activities.
• Engage in prevention and intervention activities and presentations.
• Set up the program area as needed.
• Encourage attendance and oversee safe activities at schools.
