Job summary

Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas is seeking an Education Services Clerk to support the Tribal Student Services program. You will coordinate family services, assist with events and ensure data integrity while maintaining confidentiality.

You will act as a liaison between staff, students and partner programs, coordinating enrollment and referrals. Flexibility and strong organizational skills are essential to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; basic computer skills and ability to complete office documentation.
• Preferred: 40+ college hours in education or related field; two years’ experience in a high paced educational setting or customer service.
• Native American preference is observed in recruitment, hiring, promotions, layoffs and reductions in force per the tribe’s policy.

Responsibilities

• Support EPISD Tribal student attendance internal process.
• Provide transportation for K-12 students to education tutorial services, and for post-secondary student on a case-by-case basis.
• Serve as liaison between lead employees; connect students with support services, advocacy and resources.
• Maintain confidentiality of educational data and student information.
• Document communications into titanium system and conference reports.
• Assist with Education enrollment, registration and recruitment of programs including Head Start, Childcare, TSS, Tutorial Services.
