Job summary

Lead For America, via the American Connection Corps, seeks a full‑time ACC Member to help bridge the digital divide in Western North Carolina. The role supports device refurbishment, distribution, and digital literacy while engaging communities.

You will gain hands‑on service experience, participate in national trainings, and contribute to program outcomes under staff supervision throughout the term.

Qualifications

• Be a U.S. Citizen, National, or Lawful Permanent Resident.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Be 17 years of age or older by start of service.
• Have not already served four AmeriCorps terms.

Responsibilities

• Community Outreach: raise awareness about digital equity programs.
• Device Procurement: identify and coordinate in‑kind device donations.
• Device Refurbishment: assist in refurbishment programs.
• Digital Literacy: support training sessions with individuals or groups.
• Data Collection and Reporting: compile progress summaries for staff.
