Job summary

Lead For America and the Southwestern Commission seek a Digital Navigator to expand digital inclusion in Western North Carolina. You will provide individualized technology assistance, deliver workshops, and partner with senior centers and local organizations to improve digital literacy.

As a full-time ACC member, you gain hands-on service experience, structured training, and access to a national network, with a competitive AmeriCorps benefits package including living stipend and education award.

Qualifications

• Be a U.S. Citizen, National, or Lawful Permanent Resident.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Be 17 years of age or older by start of service.
• Have not already served four AmeriCorps terms.

Responsibilities

• Provide digital literacy education and one-on-one assistance to older adults and underserved populations.
• Develop and deliver digital literacy workshops on devices, email, internet, safety.
• Assist in coordinating workshops and outreach with community partners.
• Maintain records and assist with program evaluation and reporting.
