Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Experience providing a range of therapeutic techniques and skill-building interventions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Willingness to work flexibly within changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Experience charting and documentation in an EMR.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple health professionals in a busy environment.
• Demonstrated capacity to react to emergencies.
• Must meet productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-placement services and case management for unaccompanied children.
• Complete needs assessments and develop case plans, considering culture and language.
• Manage a caseload of 25-40 cases.
• Maintain high standards of record-keeping per policies.
• Provide information, education, referrals, outreach, advocacy, and support.
• Assess placement safety and appropriateness using welfare principles.
• Build a network of local pro bono legal resources and service providers.
• Coordinate and maintain communication with stakeholders.
• Participate in regular training and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
