The City of Casper seeks a dependable Community Services Officer to join Casper Police Department and support public safety. You will respond to citizen inquiries, assist with non-emergency incidents, enforce parking regulations, and help with VIN checks, fingerprints, subpoenas, and reports.

This role requires strong customer service, the ability to work varied shifts, and a commitment to community safety.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 6 months clerical or law enforcement experience.
• Wyoming driver’s license preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve the Community: respond to inquiries, complaints and requests for assistance with professionalism.
• Support Public Safety: assist patrol officers with non-emergency incidents and safety issues.
• Enforce City Regulations: monitor parking ordinances and address abandoned vehicles.
• Provide Essential Services: VIN checks, fingerprints, subpoenas, and reports.
• Document Incidents: gather information, prepare accurate reports, maintain records.
• Participate in Community Events: assist with outreach, events, fundraisers, funerals, escorts.
• Assist with Legal Proceedings: prepare documentation and provide court testimony when needed.
