Job summary

Alliance College-Ready Public Schools in Los Angeles seeks a Community Schools Coordinator to implement and align the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) at a participating site. You will partner with community agencies and local governments to combine academics, health, and social services to support scholar well‑being and achievement.

You will report to the site principal and collaborate with the equity team to sustain services through 2029, coordinating wraparound

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required.
• 3+ years of progressive professional work experience in a related field, including at least 1 year of school leadership experience in an urban setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school leadership, families, and community stakeholders to assess needs and develop a comprehensive Community Schools plan aligned to goals and APR requirements.
• Build, manage, and sustain relationships with community-based organizations, government agencies, and service providers; establish MOUs and align external resources.
• Coordinate wraparound services such as tutoring, mental health, healthcare, enrichment, food access, college preparation, and after-school programs; connect scholars and families to supports.
• Strengthen family and community participation by organizing workshops, events, and leadership opportunities; promote shared decision-making and belonging.
• Oversee design and execution of programs that advance the four pillars of Community Schools, integrated into school day and culture.
• Collect and analyze data to measure impact, identify gaps, monitor partner performance, and adjust strategies.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or higher

1 year of school leadership experience in an urban public school or public charter school
