Job summary

Alliance College-Ready Public Schools seeks a Community Schools Coordinator to implement and coordinate the California Community Schools Partnership Program at a participating school site. This grant-funded role partners with community agencies to align resources and improve scholar well-being, academics, and access to health services.

The ideal candidate will manage collaborations, organize wraparound services, and monitor outcomes under the guidance of the school principal and the Director,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• 3+ years of progressive professional work experience in a related field (e.g. academic support, mental health, afterschool, youth development, or family support) including at least 1 year of school leadership experience in a public school or public charter school in an urban setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school leadership, staff, families, and community stakeholders to assess needs and assets and develop a comprehensive Community Schools plan.
• Build and sustain relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and service providers and establish MOUs to align resources.
• Coordinate wraparound services (tutoring, mental health, healthcare, enrichment, food access, college prep, after-school programs).
• Monitor partner performance, track outcomes, and adjust strategies to meet evolving needs.
• Collect data and inform decisions to improve scholar well-being, engagement, and academic success.
• Engage families through workshops and events to promote belonging and equity in the school culture.
• Identify and secure grants, donations, and partnerships to expand services and ensure sustainability.
