Aspire Public Schools in California seeks a Director of Community Schools and Expanded Learning to lead integrated student supports, family and community partnerships, after-school and enrichment programming, and wellness initiatives across the school site.

You will collaborate with school leadership, families, staff, and partners to align programs with CCSPP priorities and Aspire’s mission, while building a culture of equity and high expectations.

• Proficiency with technology (Microsoft Office, student information system).
• Bilingual Spanish speaking and writing preferred.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with the Principal and staff to identify supports for students and families.
• Lead the Community Schools strategy and implementation plan in alignment with CCSPP requirements.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with community-based organizations and government agencies.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among students, families, staff and partners.
• Chair the Community Schools Advisory Committee and support stakeholder engagement processes.
• Strengthen family engagement initiatives, including SSC and ELAC.
• Support attendance interventions and wellness initiatives.
• Oversee the Expanded Learning/After School Program operations and scheduling.
• Ensure nutrition and snacks are provided during program hours.
• Maintain accurate attendance and program records; track student progress.
• Support positive student behavior systems and ensure a safe environment.
• Open/close programs daily and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
