Acacia Network is seeking a Community School Director to lead the East 176th Street initiative in NYC. You will create experiential learning, assess needs, and coordinate services for students and families with school leadership.

Responsibilities include building relationships with DOE staff, managing partnerships, and guiding the continuum of services. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, 2–3 years of admin work, and willingness to fingerprint for DOE clearance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Bi-lingual a plus.
• Experience working in school-based settings with youth development knowledge.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse communities.
• Willingness to work some nights and weekends.
• Minimum of two to three years of administrative work experience.
• Excellent relationship-building and organizational skills.
• Proficient with IT and Microsoft Office/G-Suite; eager to learn new tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; problem-solving oriented.
• Willing to undergo NYC DOE fingerprint clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Community School initiative and coordinate school-community partnerships.
• Develop action plans, track progress, and ensure program accountability.
• Oversee staff and volunteers; support school leadership in implementation.
• Maintain relationships with administration, faculty, families, and partners.
• Represent the agency in external committees and funder reporting.
