Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a Community Safety Program Coordinator to support the implementation of programs and events within the Division of Community Safety Policy and Engagement (DCS) in the Comprehensive Injury Center (CIC).

You will coordinate logistics for meetings, help prepare materials, monitor priorities, and draft communications. Strong Zoom/Office skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with CIC Communications are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree
• Minimum Required Experience: 3 years
• Preferred Experience: Government, nonprofit public health
• Field: Public Health Administration and Community Engagement

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual meetings and events
• Support the development and preparation of presentation materials
• Monitor program priorities, deliverables and deadlines
• Draft, review, and edit proposals, external correspondence, presentations, and other documents
• Document meetings and events via notes, photographs, and video as needed
• Draft content for social media, reports, and other external communications
• Monitor and update files and documents including presentations, calendars, reports, proposals
• Research and monitor trends relevant to community safety, public health, and violence prevention
• Manage program communications and follow through of DCS partners and participants
• Coordinate enrollment, registration, and follow up activities for meetings and events
