Native American Community Clinic in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an experienced RN for a Phone Triage role. The position is full time and involves managing patient calls, triage, and follow-up under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to handle diverse patient needs. The ideal candidate will have an active MN RN license, BLS CPR, and COVID-19 vaccination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 year experience providing direct patient care services in clinic setting, preferably in nursing triage; experience with Native Americans or marginalized communities preferred.
• RN license active and unrestricted in Minnesota; BLS CPR certification; proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsabilités

• Manage patient phone calls and triage, including abnormal labs or other orders directed by providers.
• Assess patient concerns for all ages over the phone by collecting health data.
• Plan and advise treatment based on approved protocols; complete prescription refills per protocols.
• Conduct hospital follow-up calls and update written protocols as needed.
• Collaborate with Medical Leadership and attend regular meetings for planning and reporting.
