Job summary

Human Services Administration Organization (HSAO) in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring a Community Resource Navigator. The role focuses on navigating complex human service needs, coordinating a network of DHS navigation teams, and connecting clients with community agencies.

The position is full-time (38.75 hours/week) with a strong emphasis on independent judgment and initiative. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in social services or related field, 1+ year experience, and required clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, education or related field with 1+ year of experience.
• ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
• Background checks as required by DHS/Pittsburgh Public Schools.
• Valid PA driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Make connections with DHS providers as a team approach to next steps.
• Attend and/or coordinate teaming meetings as needed.
• Triage and refer to contracted/community partner agencies.
• Follow up with individuals/families and agencies to ensure connections.
• Lead coordinating network of navigation teams within DHS with shared training and resources.
