Job summary

Qualifications

• College coursework in recreation or related field is required.
• Experience as Recreation Leader IV or III demonstrates progression.
• Driver's license and ability to maintain insurability are required.
• First Aid/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate community recreation programs, classes, activities, and events.
• Coordinate staff, instructors, coaches, volunteers, and program volunteers.
• Schedule facilities, registrations, staffing, equipment, and supplies.
• Promote programs and build partnerships with schools, departments, and the public.
• Maintain program records and assist with program evaluations.
