Qualifications

• Equivalent to an associate degree and two years coordinating comprehensive recreational programs.
• Experience assisting in planning and operating recreation programs, events, and centers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, coordinate, review, and evaluate recreation programs, activities, and services.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise part-time staff and volunteers; develop schedules and documentation.
• Coordinate a wide range of programs including senior activities, youth programs, and special events.
• Coordinate staff development and training for coaches, staff, and officials; ensure certification where required.
• Serve as a primary contact for patrons, address questions, concerns, and program information.
