Job summary

Gfoat is seeking a Recreation Coordinator to support planning, delivery and promotion of Parks & Recreation programs, events, facilities and outreach. You will work with residents, schools and partners to create safe, inclusive experiences.

The role emphasizes planning, data-driven decisions, and strong customer service while supporting evening and weekend needs as required by operations.

Qualifications

• One year of directly related experience is required; two years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• An equivalent combination of experience and education to meet minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, delivery and promotion of recreation programs, events and facilities.
• Coordinate multiple tasks and priorities across teams and partners.
• Collaborate with residents, schools and city staff to ensure safe, inclusive experiences.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies and safety standards; engage stakeholders professionally.
