Job summary

Gfoat is seeking a Recreation Center Supervisor to oversee summer day camp programs, coordinate activities, and manage staff in a multi-site setting. The role requires planning, budgeting, and effective public relations to ensure high-quality programs and safety.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Recreation Administration and at least two years in recreation; a Texas Class C license is required. You will work evenings and weekends as needed and assist with front desk coverage and event

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration or related field required.
• Two (2) years of experience in recreation; experience coordinating summer day camps preferred.
• Texas Class C driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise summer day camp employees and attendees.
• Hire, train, and supervise seasonal summer camp Directors and Counselors.
• Coordinate the work of recreation staff for summer camps.
• Design, develop, supervise, and evaluate recreation programs, events, and activities.
• Supervise large groups across sites to ensure health and safety standards.
