Job summary

Gfoat is seeking a dedicated Recreation Program Supervisor to plan and direct summer camps and out-of-school activities for school-age children. You will handle phone inquiries, greet guests, tour memberships, provide program and facility information, and assist with rentals.

You will also support operations and customer service across the recreation center. You will recruit and train staff, coordinate registrations, and ensure compliance with policies while maintaining a safe, welcoming

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in person-to-person customer service, cash handling and/or recreational or related experience.
• Prefer two years of college education with the field of childcare, recreation or related field and some supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, evaluate, and direct day-to-day operations and long-term planning for a school-age, childcare program.
• Monitor and apply City policies, industry standards, and State laws for childcare programs.
• Recruit, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate instructors, staff, and volunteers.
• Provide excellent customer service and promotional information for memberships, programs, events, and rentals.
• Assist with room setup, rentals, events, and alignment with renter expectations.
• Maintain a clean and safe recreation center facility and perform routine safety checks.
• Assist with front line customer service, bookings, and monthly reporting.
