Job summary

Qualifications

• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Certification of peer support for recovery within six months for designated departments: PBHI Grants, Assertive Community Treatment, SAMHSA-CCBHC and crisis teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support for individuals in recovery and connect them to resources.
• Engage clients face-to-face in community settings and support recovery.
• Lead individual and group teaching, home visiting, advocacy, and motivational interviewing.
• Travel within the community as needed to meet clients and attend outreach events.
