Job summary

Orange County Government is seeking a Program Manager to supervise and administer major programs across a division in Orlando, FL. The role leads teams, delivers services, and achieves program outcomes through community engagement, outreach, and policy implementation.

Independent work style with sound judgement under supervision will be required. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years in program management or related areas; NRPA membership and strong Excel/Office skills are

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and two years of experience in program management, project coordination, public administration, or related fields.
In lieu of the degree, additional relevant experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

Supervise and administer major programs or projects across a division.
Lead teams, oversee service delivery, and ensure achievement of program outcomes.
Engage with the public through community outreach and policy implementation.
Present to governing boards, staff, and the public with limited supervision.
Coordinate budgeting, procurement, and resource management.
Maintain integrity of cultural and environmental resources and public parks.
