Job summary

Community Action Partnership of Orange County in Orange, CA seeks a Senior Manager, Family Resource Center to oversee the El Modena Family Resource Center, develop robust family strengthening programs, and ensure funder requirements are met and aligned with CAP OC’s mission.

The role leads staff, volunteers and interns, coordinates with partners and community organizations, manages facilities, and drives outcome-driven services to sustain impact in the lives of those served.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field is required.
• 3 years of leadership experience coaching and mentoring staff, volunteers and interns.
• 3 years’ experience with family strengthening program management and development with SOPs and systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of not-for-profit operations, funding identification, grant writing, and fiduciary oversight.
• Experience working with diverse, low-income, at-risk populations.
• Ability to lead community engagement and advocacy groups to drive community change.

Responsibilities

• Direct program and facility operations in line with contractual agreements and funder requirements.
• Coordinate with staff to outline work-plans, assign duties, and define authority.
• Develop workflows for programs to benefit onsite staff, volunteers, interns, partners, and participants.
• Supervise program staff and volunteers; manage performance evaluations.
• Assist in preparing and writing funding grant applications.
• Plan and monitor program performance objectives and outcomes for grant compliance.
