Job summary

Orange County Government in Orlando, FL is seeking a professional to develop, coordinate and maintain contracts. You will work under supervision to manage contract processes, from drafting RFPs to evaluating bids and coordinating with vendors and user departments.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least two years of contract experience; preferred familiarity with public sector procurement and Advantage or similar financial software. Benefits provided as listed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Public Administration or closely related field.
• Two years of experience preparing and/or monitoring contracts; substitute for degree allowed year-for-year.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and prepares RFPs and IFBs for goods, services, construction and capital contracts.
• Schedules and participates in pre-bid/proposal conferences.
• Reviews Board agenda items for contracts and prepares amendments.
• Evaluates bids and proposals for responsiveness and contract terms.
• Coordinates with consultants, contractors and vendors on contractual items.
• Develops, tracks and maintains contract administration databases.
