Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa seeks a Community Services Coordinator to lead CSBG program support, oversee Community Support Advocates, and manage data tracking tools and partnerships across New Mexico. The role requires coordinating training, event scheduling, and ongoing evaluation of services for vulnerable populations.

Based in New Mexico with weekly travel to Mora, Bernalillo, Sandoval, Dona Ana, Santa Fe, Rio Arriba, Taos, Colfax, and San Miguel counties, you will collaborate with diverse partners

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 2+ years progressive experience in employment and/or training programs, social services, and/or with the low-income population
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in social work, Public Administration, Human Services, or related field
• Experience in program administration, staff supervision, and community-based service delivery
• Ability to travel weekly to support staff in multiple areas

Responsibilities

• Provide overall support to the HELPNM Community Services Director related to all Community Services program services, deliverables, and requirements
• Recommend applicants for Community Support Advocates (CSA) during selection and training of newly onboarding CSA
• Conduct periodic training for CSA's
• Create and maintain databases for program tracking tools, partnerships, training logs, and other data pertinent to CSBG performance measures
• Schedule community events and engagements in partnership with other community agencies
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing community services
• Plan, develop, recommend, and implement innovative community services
• Act as a key advisor to the Community Services Director on program design and service delivery models
