Job summary

The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank is seeking a Community Programming Coordinator to support Mobile Food Pantry, Neighborhood Produce Market, and Emergency Food Box programs. You will plan, implement, and evaluate community distribution efforts, collaborating with partners, volunteers, and BRAFB teams.

Based preferably in Charlottesville, VA, the role includes outdoor site work, travel, and some evening commitments while offering a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating programs, logistics, and implementation.
• Experience supervising volunteers.
• Clear written and spoken communication.
• Proficient with databases, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, and evaluation of Mobile Food Pantry, Neighborhood Produce Market, and Emergency Food Box programs.
• Serve as liaison among partners, volunteers, guests, and BRAFB.
• Build and maintain relationships with partner site coordinators.
• Facilitate scheduling, logistics, and program implementation with BRAFB teams.
• Maintain administrative oversight and ensure program compliance with site monitoring.
• Conduct annual guest and partner feedback surveys.
• Some evening work is required.
