Job summary

City of Corona seeks a dedicated Community Services Leader to provide exceptional customer service, support administrative tasks, and engage the public across multiple programs. You will be a key contact for residents, visitors, and businesses, ensuring timely, professional responses.

Role involves overseeing Kids Club, Sports, Senior Center, and Reservations with a focus on safe, welcoming environments and strong community engagement. Nights, weekends, and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Reads and writes at required level for job performance.
• Ages 15+ with work permit if under 18.
• Experience in community settings is a plus.
• Valid California driver’s license may be required for driving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities and recreation programs for youth, adults, and seniors.
• Coach, officiate, and prepare spaces for sports activities.
• Serve as liaison to parents, patrons, and participants; resolve issues.
• Open/close City facilities and monitor rentals, including after-hours use.
• Assist in setting up rooms and equipment for programs and registrations.
• Process registrations, permits, and simple transactions.
