City of Norco is seeking individuals for part-time recreation positions to plan and instruct youth and adult programs across city facilities. Responsibilities include event planning, program development, and supervising activities with an emphasis on excellent customer service.

Roles may involve evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying hours, with eligibility lists used to fill vacancies in the Community Operation Department.

Competenze

• Preferred experience with youth or sports/recreational activities.
• CPR and basic first aid certifications within 3 months of hire.
• California driver’s license may be required for some positions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and attend staff meetings.

Mansioni

• Plan, organize, develop and instruct recreation, sports, or youth/adult programs at various facilities.
• Assist in supervising youth and adult recreation activities and citywide events.
• Set up rooms for recreation activities or rentals and supervise facility rentals for policy compliance.
• Chaperone participants on excursions and special events and conduct program planning reviews.
