Job summary

Sand Mountain Park & Amphitheater, managed by The Sports Facilities Management, seeks a Local Programming Coordinator in Albertville, AL. Qualifications

• Experience in recreation, community programming, hospitality, education, business, event management, or related field.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within a specified period.
• Proven experience developing, marketing, and managing community-based or recreational programs.
• Experience creating programs for youth, adults, and families.
• Team player with strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support planning, development, and execution of sport and non-sport programming.
• Support ongoing facility program schedule with internal departments and priorities.
• Assist with developing programming for corporate, group, adult, youth, family, and special markets.
• Support program budgets and monitor revenue goals and efficiency.
• Assist with sales initiatives and participation goals for programs and events.
• Help generate program revenue through networking and community partnerships.
• Track, compile, and report weekly sales and participation results.
• Coordinate program logistics, execution, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with partners, instructors, vendors, and community organizations to maximize revenue.
• Assist with recruiting, training, scheduling, and supporting program staff.
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and other departments to promote and deliver programs.
• Participate in operational functions during events and assist other departments as needed.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) on weekends or during events, as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
