Sand Mountain Park & Amphitheater is seeking an Operations Team Member in Albertville, AL to support daily park activities and guest experiences. The role covers setup, game operations, cleanliness, and guest assistance in a fast-paced recreation environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in sports/recreation, is skilled with scoreboard operation, and can mentor participants while delivering superior customer service. This is a part-time, non-exempt position within our operations department.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in the Sports/Recreation field.
• Experience operating an electric scoreboard.
• Experience in coaching or mentoring athletes or children.
• Proven success in being a quality team member.
• Experience with baseball, softball, soccer, football, lacrosse, basketball, pickleball and/or volleyball events.
• Experience and success in customer service, leadership, and organization.

Responsabilités

• Ensure correct equipment is available for games, and proper set up of all play areas.
• Ensure games start on time and are scored accurately.
• Monitor all game play areas including turf and courts.
• Maintain and control trash in all areas of the park and buildings.
• Monitor, maintain and service restrooms in all areas of the parks and buildings.
• Communicate issues and updates to supervisor and team members.
• Assist with coordination of all programming and events.
• Assist other departments as necessary.
• Complete special projects and daily assignments as directed by management.
• Greet guests and provide answers and directions as needed.
• Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staff.
• Be knowledgeable about prices, leagues, and events.
• Report incidents to GM/AGM/MOD.
• Know and enforce facility policies and rules.
• Take shift-lead responsibilities based on merit & experience.
