Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory seeks a compassionate Program Coordinator for the Orrville Service Center. You will work with clients, partners, and volunteers to deliver programs that empower families and strengthen the community.

Responsibilities include coordinating services, maintaining records, and supporting seasonal and community outreach programs. Prioritizes collaboration and compassionate service to those in need.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
• Two to three years of related experience.
• Strong intake interviewing and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize client information and program records.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary staff contact for individuals and families seeking assistance.
• Implement and promote mentoring, advocacy, resource referral, and community linkage.
• Educate and assist individuals and families as they identify challenges and solutions.
• Coordinate follow-up services and maintain client records, tracking information, statistics, and program documentation.
• Assist with food pantry services, financial assistance, and other social services.
