The Salvation Army’s Old Orchard Beach Corps is seeking a Family Service Coordinator to provide compassionate, professional services to individuals and families in need within the Old Orchard Beach area. The role conducts intakes, connects clients with community resources, and supports seasonal programs while maintaining confidential records.

Responsibilities include managing the food pantry, coordinating referrals, and supporting volunteers and office duties in a mission-driven environment

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Conduct client intakes and needs assessments.
• Provide emergency assistance in accordance with Salvation Army policies and available funding.
• Coordinate referrals to community resources and local agencies.
• Maintain the food pantry, including inventory and Foodbank orders and pickups.
• Assist with planning and implementing seasonal programs and family assistance initiatives.
• Maintain accurate, complete and confidential client records.
• Provide direction and support to volunteers and assist with office duties.
