Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory is seeking a Social Services & Volunteer Coordinator in East Cleveland. The role leads social services, food programs, and volunteer operations under Corps Officers, guiding budgets, staffing, and program development to advance the mission.

The successful candidate will provide direct client services, supervise interns, and foster interagency partnerships, promoting holistic community support and outreach aligned with the Salvation Army mission.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience or leadership exposure is required.
• Strong understanding of social service operations and client needs.
• Ability to coordinate programs and manage resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Understand, promote and facilitate the Mission of The Salvation Army.
• Oversee all aspects of the Social Services & Volunteer Programs including budgets, personnel & program development.
• Render direct casework and/or group work to clients, assess needs and develop treatment plans.
• Provide supervision and training for assigned interns.
• Liaise with social services community and present the agency’s program to public or civic groups.
• Coordinate with external agencies for interagency referrals and resource development.
