Job summary

The Caring Physio is seeking a Community Physiotherapist to cover Gloucester and Stroud in a part-time capacity. You will visit patients at home, assess their needs, and design personalized rehabilitation plans to help them regain independence.

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience as a physiotherapist, including at least 2 years in the NHS.
• Clinical background: Experience in care of the elderly, frailty, neurology and orthopaedics is essential.
• Rotational grounding: Value breadth across major NHS divisions for safe home-based calls.
• The person: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, patience, and problem-solving abilities.
• Registration: Current HCPC registration.
• Right to work: You must have the right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).
• Logistics: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home physiotherapy to help patients regain independence.
• Develop rehabilitation plans tailored to home environments.
• Coordinate with family members and patients to ensure adherence and progress.
