Job summary

Food Bank in New York City seeks a dedicated coordinator to support on-site emergency food programs with schools, healthcare partners, and community organizations across NYC. This role engages in campus pantry operations, PantryRx distribution, and partnership development to address student and family food insecurity.

Responsibilities include coordinating monthly site operations, grant reporting, and stakeholder engagement while collaborating with internal teams to expand anti-hunger

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in public health/policy, organizing or related field is required.
• Experience working with diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds is essential.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison providing technical assistance to schools, health care partners, and other CBO partners to support implementation of on-site food distribution programs.
• Coordinate monthly operations at program locations, including logistics of ordering food, delivery, budget monitoring, and adherence to program goals and deliverables.
• Facilitate partner engagement strategies and coordinate partner learning opportunities.
• Coordinate grant compliance and reporting efforts, including tracking expenditures and preparing funder reports.
• Maintain data and records and prepare monthly performance reports.
• Support program planning, site recruitment, training and onboarding, and program monitoring.
• Develop and maintain relationships with partner staff and stakeholders to expand partnerships.
• Coordinate with internal teams to implement additional anti-hunger initiatives.
• Serve as spokesperson/liaison at trainings, conferences, and community events.
• Support funding identification and site visits for demonstrations of program impact.
