Job summary

Mercy Health is hiring a Community Paramedic to provide in-home care, education, and rapid response for acutely ill patients. The role includes assessment, stabilization, and arranging hospital transport under physician guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assess, stabilize and coordinate transport for acutely ill patients.
• Provide home-based primary care and education.
• Administer patient care per protocols and physician orders.
• Coordinate appointments with physicians and hospitals.
• Develop and complete reports for the Community Paramedic Program.
• Support documentation and data entry as needed.
