Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island is seeking a Community Outreach and Training Coordinator in Providence, RI. You will locate, create and track outreach opportunities for Ever Hope Center services and coordinate trainings and events with community partners.

The role focuses on building rapport with providers and communities to educate on eligibility criteria, address stigma, and promote inclusive, culturally competent services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or equal relevant experience required.
• Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated.
• Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8% above base pay.
• Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must.

Responsibilities

• Locate, create and track opportunities for outreach about Ever Hope Center services.
• Optimize community supports for continued partnerships and referral sources.
• Coordinate, schedule and facilitate trainings provided by the Ever Hope Center.
• Coordinate training, programming and events with community partners and providers.
• Build rapport with providers and community members to educate on eligibility criteria and basic program expectations; combat stigma around behavioral healthcare.
