Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willingness to travel frequently between Lorain and Cuyahoga Counties; reliable transportation is a must.
• Knowledge of child development and planning age-appropriate activities; childcare experience preferred.
• Willingness to update knowledge through required training and professional development.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; positive, proactive communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail, time management, and organization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software; graphic design skills a plus.
• Prompt, reliable, and passionate about children.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and posts on blogs and social media for the collaboratives.
• Assists with outreach and promotion through social media and events attendance.
• Creates flyers for programs and events.
• Participates in monthly Steering Committee meetings for SSP and RSG; takes minutes.
• Creates a monthly newsletter for the RSG collaborative.
• Plans and delivers monthly playgroups for children aged 2–5.
• Prepares and distributes monthly Kinder kits.
• Assists with monthly data collection for reports.
• Keeps Pioneer Freedge stocked and cleaned weekly; coordinates with local partners for food delivery.
• May lift and carry items as needed for deliveries.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
