Job summary

Basecamp Recovery Center is seeking an Outreach & Community Engagement Coordinator to connect adults with substance use treatment through hospitals, clinics, and community organizations in the Columbus area. You will build partnerships, educate partners on services, and ensure timely warm handoffs to intake.

This full-time role requires travel up to 50% and involves coordinating outreach activities, reporting, and staying compliant with guidelines while representing BRC in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• 2+ years in community outreach, health, or related field.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality advisable.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, social service agencies, and referral partners.
• Educate partners on BRC services, admission criteria, and referral processes.
• Attend community events, health fairs, and professional meetings; staff information tables.
• Route referrals to intake for warm handoffs the same business day.
• Log outreach activity and submit monthly summaries and daily reports.
